Solid Rock installs complete heating and cooling systems for Colorado Springs homes that have outgrown patched repairs. Installation includes load-aware equipment selection, duct and electrical review, and a commissioned startup, not a drop-and-go swap of whatever was on the truck.
Josh and Tammy’s team walks you through furnace-plus-AC, heat pump, dual-fuel, and ductless paths using the house you have: 1970s ranch, newer Widefield build, or a mountain-side addition that never got proper airflow. Wells Fargo financing and utility rebate paperwork are available on qualifying projects.
Professional service built around your home
Equipment matched to the house
We confirm heating and cooling loads, look at duct condition, and choose furnace, AC, heat pump, or ductless hardware that can actually deliver the calculated BTUs at altitude.
Clean change-out and startup
Line sets, flues, condensate, and electrical are brought up to current practice. We start the system, check operation, and register warranties.
Financing and rebate support
Approved-credit financing and help identifying Colorado and local utility incentives keep the project on a budget you can live with.
HVAC needs in Colorado Springs
High elevation changes capacity ratings. A system that “worked in Texas” will short-cycle or freeze here if it is oversized for our dry, sunny summers and undersized for design-day heat. Solid Rock plans installations around Colorado Springs design temperatures, existing duct leakage, and combustion air on tightly sealed remodels.
When replacement is the better HVAC path
- Repeated compressor or heat exchanger failures
- R-22 equipment that can no longer be serviced economically
- Rooms that never balanced no matter how often it is repaired
- A furnace and AC that are both past typical service life
- A remodel or addition that the old system cannot supply

Frequently asked questions
How long does HVAC installation take?
A straightforward furnace and AC change-out is often completed in a day. Heat pumps, dual-fuel, and duct revisions can take longer. We set the schedule after the site visit.
Do you pull permits?
Installations are completed to applicable Colorado Springs and El Paso County requirements. Permit needs are confirmed for the specific property and equipment.
Can you replace only the furnace or only the AC?
Yes, when the matching piece is still sound and compatible. We will say so if mismatched efficiency or coil capacity would waste the investment.
