Solid Rock installs central air conditioning and matching coils for Colorado Springs homes that are ready for a new outdoor unit, not another capacitor. An AC install includes sizing for altitude, a coil match to the furnace, line-set and electrical work, and a documented startup.
If ducts are leaky or an addition was never tied in correctly, we address that in the proposal instead of pretending a larger condenser will fix airflow. Financing on approved credit and current rebate programs are reviewed before you commit.
Professional service built around your home
Cooling load and match-up
We confirm the house load, furnace coil compatibility, and SEER2 equipment that can reject heat at local design conditions.
Install day done to code
Pad, disconnect, line set, condensate, and thermostat wiring are completed as a system. The old unit is removed and the area is left clean.
Startup and owner walkthrough
We verify operation, explain filter sizes, and register equipment. Service agreements are available so the new AC is maintained.
HVAC needs in Colorado Springs
West-facing glass and dark roofs in Colorado Springs drive cooling loads that tables from lower elevations underestimate. Evaporative coolers still exist in some neighborhoods, but many homeowners are converting to refrigerated air. Installation has to account for existing furnace compatibility, 240-volt service, and outdoor pad placement that can survive hail and snow.
Benefits of a professional AC install
- Equipment sized for Colorado Springs, not a generic chart
- Coil and furnace matched so you are not starving airflow
- Electrical and disconnect work completed with the install
- Warranty registration handled after startup
- A local company that will service what it installs

Frequently asked questions
How long does AC installation take in Colorado Springs?
A like-for-like outdoor unit and coil swap is often a one-day job. Electrical upgrades or duct changes add time, which we estimate after seeing the house.
Can you install AC if I only have a furnace?
Yes, if ducts, electrical service, and a location for the outdoor unit are workable. We inspect those items before quoting a first-time air conditioning installation.
Do you install heat pumps instead of straight AC?
When a heat pump is a better fit for the home and utility rates, we will present that option alongside conventional air conditioning.
